Description

Pin and Socket Technology

The SPEC Pak® Mini connectors are available in 3 or 5 positions made of PC material offering operating temperatures of -20 to 105°C (-4 to 221°F) and utilize the proven PowerMod® pin and socket contact technology. These compact connectors can deliver capabilities of up to 22 amps at 600 volts while handling wire sizes from 24 to 12 AWG (.25 to 2.5 mm²). The 30µ gold plated pins are available in 3 lengths, enabling sequenced contact mating options.

The SPEC Pak® 5 Position Mid Power connector is made from PC/PBT blended materials offering operating temperatures of -40 to 105°C (-40 to 221°F) and offers a compact pin and socket design suitable for 3 phase AC power distribution, motor, controller or Industrial equipment applications. Mid Power connector is compatible with up to 8 AWG (8.4mm²) wire with capabilities of up to 60 amps. Keying features within the housing design allows for multiple connectors to be used side by side while preventing circuits with incompatible voltage from being connected. The sealing gland accommodates both individual and jacketed cables offering protection from ingress dust and water certified to IP68. The shell
housings feature robust metal latches designed to keep connectors securely mated.

The SPEC Pak® 5 Position Mid Power – Solar connector is made from PC/PBT blended materials offering operating temperatures of -40 to 105°C (-40 to 221°F) and pin and socket design certified to UL6703. 5 Position Mid Power – Solar connector integrates well with an inverter, junction box or metered connection within the solar Industry. Compatible up to 8 AWG (8.4mm²) wire with capabilities of up to 60 amps. Design offers a keying feature that allows multiple connectors to be used side by side while preventing circuits with incompatible voltage from being connected. The sealing gland accommodates both individual and jacketed cables that offers protection from ingress dust and water certified to IP68. The shell housings feature robust metal latches designed to keep connectors securely mated and requires a tool to unlock.

Flat wiping Technology

The SPEC Pak® 4 Position and 6 Position connectors are made of durable PBT material offering operating temperatures of -40 to 105°C (-40 to 221°F). Housings accept the 15/45
Powerpole® housings, and/or 16 to 24 auxiliaries for signaling. Wire sizes accommodate 20 to 10 AWG (.52-5.3 mm²) for power or 24 to 12 AWG (.25 to 2.5 mm²) for auxiliaries. The 30µ gold plated pins are available in 3 lengths, enabling sequenced contact mating options.

The Spec Pak® 4 Position Mid Power connector is made of durable PBT/PC blended material offering operating temperatures of -40 to 105°C (-40 to 221°F) and is capable of
handling up to 80 amps at 600 volts with signals. Connector is highly configurable utilizing the PP75 Powerpole® housings and/or up to 8 auxiliaries, accepting wire sizes ranging from 12 to 6 AWG (3.3 to 13.3mm²) for power and 24 to 12 (.50-2.50 mm²) for signaling. Stainless steel latches prevent accidental unmating of connectors.

The Spec Pak® 4 Position- Solar connector is made of PC/PBT blended material offering operating temperatures of -40 to 105°C (-40 to 221°F) and certified to UL 6703 and UL 764C F1 weatherability ratings specific to the photovoltaic industry. Housings once mated require a tool to unlock which meets NEC 2008 requirements. Ideal for applications such as solar, wind power, fuel cells, mass transportation, off-road vehicles, and many more. Housings accommodate up to 4,  15/45 Powerpole® housings for power accepting wire sizes of 20 to 10 AWG (.52-5.3 mm²) and/or 16 auxiliaries for wire sizes of 24 to 12 AWG (.25 to 2.5 mm²).The 30µ gold plated pins are available in 3 lengths, enabling sequenced contact mating options.

The SPEC Pak® High Power connector is made of durable PBT material offering operating temperatures of -40 to 105°C (-40 to 221°F) and accepts 75 to 180-amp Powerpole® housings and up to 8 auxiliary contacts. The wide range of Powerpole® housing colors and contact sizes, coupled with the available Powerpole® insert holders, offers the user a wide array of design options. Wire sizes which can accommodate a range from 24 to 3/0 AWG (0.25 to 85.0 mm²). SPEC Pak® High Power is highly configurable with thousands of design options in a single interconnect.
